About Me
Hello there! I’m Tiffany Nguyen, a current Computer Engineering undergraduate student at the University of Washington (UW). If you’re wondering why my website domain doesn’t include my real name in some capacity, the truth is… it does! My original first name was Thi (pronounced “tee”), but my classmates apparently kept mispronoucing it as “tai,” which my parents didn’t like. My cousins call me “Thi Thi,” and the “jr” is a reference to my gamer tag.
Here’s a picture of me hiking in the snow. It’s one of my favorite activities :)
I’ve been at the university for five years now, from 2020-2025. However, my first year was sadly online. To make an excuse to stay for an extra year longer, I picked up a second degree in Mathematics. But you’ll never hear me call myself a legitimate math major because I’m unfortunately not the best at it!
During my time at university, I’ve been heavily involved with a robotics team called Advanced Robotics at UW (ARUW). You can check out my Posts at the bottom of this website to read more about it! You’ll additionally find posts outlining my (sometimes strong) opinions on the courses I’ve taken at UW and poems I’ve written in my free time.
Feel free to check out my GitLab link at the bottom of this website! Unfortunately, it might be a bit pointless, since most of my work was for ARUW’s Computer Vision team, which uses a private repo since our CV code is our competitive edge. Maybe I’ll populate it with viewable projects in the future, but for now you can stalk how often I push to ARUW’s repos.
